For Vince, ’89, and Lisa Beemiller, NAU is a family tradition. Two of their three sons, Heath, ’21, and Harrison, ’20, ’22, followed in their father’s footsteps as Lumberjack football players, making NAU Athletics a defining part of their lives for more than a decade.

Vince, a former offensive lineman, and Lisa remain deeply connected to the university through volunteer service, philanthropy, and ongoing support for NAU student-athletes. Their giving has helped strengthen scholarships and enhance the student-athlete experience across programs, ensuring that future Jacks have the same opportunities that shaped their own family’s journey.

“NAU feels like it’s pushing ahead,” Lisa says. “We wanted to be part of that.”

From cheering at the Skydome to supporting the creation of the Student-Athlete High Performance Center, the Beemillers have witnessed NAU Athletics evolve while maintaining the close-knit, character-driven culture that first drew them in.

Head Football Coach Brian Wright praised the family’s lasting influence. “Over my two years at NAU, the unwavering support of the Beemillers has been felt every step of the way. Their generosity, genuine belief in our student-athletes, and NAU pride have helped us elevate the student-athlete experience.”
